VS e-Commerce Development Analyst

We look forward to receiving applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of VS e-Commerce Development Analyst reporting to Philip Green in Colchester.

Main Purpose of Role:
Working for VS to assist with the development and launch of the e-commerce Web Catalogue through both phases of the site conception.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with, review and test the functionality requirements and development of the newly created web portal
  Site test the proposed solution to ensure all necessary enhancements are delivered to the required specification

• Preparation with the key product owners to ensure smooth extraction, cleansing and migration of product data from all key data sources

• Identification of missing data, and then to work with the product owners to gather relevant information and propose a suitable solution for assisted data entry

• Source and propose appropriate language translation package for those products requiring multi-lingual narrative text

• Full system testing of data loading and importing, administering appropriate user documentation and training

• Assist with the identification, planning and execution of the second phase of the logistics and distribution module

 

Person Specification/Profile

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience in Website design and construction

• Desirable experience of HTML and Web Services coding languages

• Ability to self-motivate, work to strict dead-lines and within scope of cost and project objectives
