Research and laboratory testings are performed at Fläkt Woods laboratories concerning all the main fields of air handling:

• Applied aerodynamics
• Acoustics
• Heat and mass transfer
• Simulation of different climate conditions around the globe is executed for testing of product performance under real conditions

The laboratory facilities comprises test equipment for testing of complete systems as well as components used in different air handling systems.

Stationary test rigs are available for performing tests according to International, European and important national standards, ISO, EN AMCA, etc.

Every year many customers are visiting Fläkt Woods laboratory in Jönköping, Sweden, for full-scale test of their air handling units. The test is performed in a smaller version of the real installation environment in order to guarantee that the customer has been offered the right ventilation solution before the construction work starts.

The full-scale-tests means that we can offer our customers to see, hear, experience and understand the behaviour of the indoor climate and our products/systems in a totally different way. And our technical data is tested by customers regularly!
